NOTES:
Punk rock and noise! Oh, how we love them. I was thinking how close punk was to early pop records where they would sing a bunch of “La, La’s” instead of sneering “fuck you’s”. I wanted to get them back in same room and watch them make out. I was also listening to NPR and someone was talking about Jerry Garcia and “to watch him was like watching a slow-motion suicide”. Are you kidding??!!! Sorry Jerry but that’s an amazing fucking line. But aren’t we all? Especially in this time of over simulation and me, me, get it now shit of which I am a member. I wanted the lyrics to be like a sequence of images of American culture. Bombs don’t convert, Levi’s do. Love it or hate it, the world wants our McDonalds Big Mac’s. We offer them this and lay siege through desire.

LYRICS:
She’s so sweet / She’s got a lipstick smile
To beat you down / She’s got everything that’s
So exciting

Jesus face up in a mushroom cloud
It feels so right / It’s everything that’s
So delighting

And your latest toy
Is your greatest joy
But it just enough for your slow motion suicide

She bright lies/ She’s all service with a smile
And you bring your spoon / Cause it’s
So inviting

She got time / She got a minute for an hour
You like her gun / Cause she’s everything that’s
So enlightening
