NOTES:
So much Beatles here. The idea was to pick up where “She’s Leaving Home” left off. What happened? Well, apparently it didn’t go so well. This is actually the first recorded version of the song. I did an acoustic version on my last record “The Gladhouse”.  “The Gladhouse” was supposed to be a demo of some of the songs I was working on for this record in order to get some acoustic show. It ended up taking on a life of its own and sidetracked this project for a long time. I love that record in all its chamber orchestra glory, but it did make this one wait.

LYRICS:
Lose yourself / It’s written on your face that words don’t tell
Found corners of a room to hide / The love you make is equal to the break

Did you laugh? Instead of cry / The couldn’t be’s. The should’ve I’s. / Always afraid

CHORUS: Home’s where the heart breaks, so slow / Home’s where the heart breaks, I knowHome’s where the heart breaks, so slow / Home’s where the heart breaks / To leave without

Choose your fate / It follows someone else you can’t erase
You feel it come to this / In blue / This house, the bed, this you / Whatever changed?
Did you ever feel the same? / Did you ever fell the way you do right now? / The way you feel

Looking back. Get ready, go / All the things you never showed / All the things you never said

(CHORUS)

Floating out. You feel it now / From the grey. To a cloud / Standing here in place

(CHORUS) (FIN)
